Exercise from Zachary's perspective

I was working out on our bowflex and here is the conversation Zachary and I had:

"What ya doin' Mom?" Zachary asked.
"Working out." I replied
"Why Mom?" Zachary asked
"To be strong and get in shape." I replied
"In shape...like a triangle? was Zachary's response...

Gotta love my little personal trainer....

Sam and Katie

This is one of my favorite pictures of Sam and I. This was taken after we got engaged in May 1996. He's had a goatee since we got married. My hair has changed various lengths and shades of red over the years. Go figure that when I started dying my hair when I was 17 I would meet someone who LOVES redheads....

How quickly 11 years has flown by....it seems just like yesterday we were married...

Comment from Zachary when he saw this picture..."That's not Mom! Sometimes it's hard to believe that's me as well....

My Sam....

Sam and our dog Samson camping at Bridgeport 2001

Sam just before riding down a HUGE hill in Lompoc, CA while visiting his brother, Omar.

This is Sam taking a picture of himself for his online game clan. So tough! His drivers license picture looks just like this (he said they told him not to smile) and we like to laugh about it stating that if we ever fly anywhere, they will take one look at his license, last name (El Alami is Arabic) and next thing you know, strip search!

I love Sam!

Disneyland February 2007

I love this picture....

Sam and Zachary outside Mr. Toad's wild ride

So we went to Disneyland on 02/04/07 Superbowl Sunday becuase someone told us that it wouldn't be that busy...WRONG! I have never seen so many strollers in one place in my life..There were so many Mom's and kids..AND..it was HOT! 88 degrees! So Isaac went shoeless since I didn't pack for hot weather.

Asleep on the way home from Southern CA

ZZZZZZ......

Isaac's first birthday November 2006

In this walker, Isaac liked to ram into things...on purpose. Quoting Spartucus "Raming Speed!"

Isaac was so tired on his first birthday, he barely wanted to eat his cake. As he got older, we noticed that he picked at things (like Mom) and used his pointer finger to "taste" the food and test the "texture" of it. So we have nicknamed his pointer finger "the tastebud."
